A free Chrome extension that automatically scrolls Facebook Marketplace search results and collects every listing into a clean dashboard. Instead of manually checking dozens of cities, you configure your search once and Scout does the scrolling — across as many cities as you choose.
Yes, completely free. Install from the Chrome Web Store and start scanning immediately. No account, no credit card, no trial period.
Anything on Facebook Marketplace — vehicles, furniture, electronics, tools, appliances, and more. The tool works on any Marketplace search, not just cars.
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers including Edge, Brave, and Arc. Firefox support is coming soon.
Privacy & Safety
No. The extension only reads what's visible on Marketplace search pages. It cannot access your profile, messages, friends list, or any other part of Facebook.
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Your searches, results, and filters never leave your device. We have no servers that receive your data.
Scout scrolls at a human-like pace and only reads what's on screen — the same thing you'd do manually. We've seen no reports of accounts being affected. Don't run it continuously for hours without stopping.
That permission is required to read listing data from Marketplace search pages. It only activates on Marketplace search pages — not your feed, profile, or anywhere else on Facebook.
Using the Scanner
Open the scanner, enter what you're searching for, choose your cities and filters, then click Start Scan. A Facebook window opens, scrolls automatically, and results stream into your dashboard in real time.
As many as you want. Scout works through them one by one, reusing the same browser tab as it moves between cities. More cities means more results but a longer scan time.
How many times Scout scrolls down on each city page before moving on. Higher depth finds more listings but takes longer. 5–10 is a good balance for most searches.
Rural Mode expands the search radius to pull in listings from smaller towns and rural areas. Rural listings often have less competition and better prices — especially for vehicles and large items.
Yes. After a scan, use the Export PDF button to download a clean PDF with thumbnails, prices, mileage, location, and a direct link to each listing.
Troubleshooting
Make sure the extension is installed and enabled at chrome://extensions. Then refresh the scanner page. If it still doesn't connect, close and reopen Chrome.
Facebook may have shown a login wall or CAPTCHA. Check the Facebook tab — if there's a prompt, dismiss it and click Resume. There's also a 3-minute safety timeout per city that will automatically skip and continue.
Facebook sometimes rate-limits scrolling during long sessions. Try pausing for a few minutes then resuming. Lowering your Search Depth setting can also help.
